How To Enter

Entries for the Bright ideas in health awards 2011 are now being invited.

The awards are open to all NHS employees in the North East region and celebrate their innovation and creativity.

Entries will be placed into one of the following four categories:

• service innovations or developments
• software / IT systems
• medical device, equipment or diagnostics
• training or educational materials

                             The closing date for the awards is 28th February 2011.

If you have a new idea that could be valuable to the NHS or that benefits patient care, do not reveal details of your invention in any way to a third party (e.g. friends, family, associates, colleagues or companies) before seeking advice. Disclosure of an idea, even by word of mouth, could seriously limit its value to you and the NHS.
