Help on search

How to use the Free text search box

Usings quotes
If you enclose the words you are looking for within double quotes (") then it will do a search for exactly what you've type. So if you have entered "water works", it will search through the database for that phrase.

Making use of an OR statement
If you would like to find two or more words then simply enter each word and seperate them by a space. So if you enter water works (note no quotes (")), it will search the database for either word in a record and return the results.

Making use of an AND statement
If you would like to find two or more words then simply enter each word and seperate them by a +. So if you enter water+works (note no quotes (")), it will search the database for where both word exist in a record and return the results.

Note:
If you type a word such as farm is will return results such as farming, farms, farmland etc.
