If you are a NHS staff member based in the North East region and would like to look at your idea, please register here to add your contact details and an idea title to our online application system. We will then send you a username and password that will allow you to submit a full application form.

NHS Innovations North has a unique, interactive and confidential online application system - Bright Ideas Tracker - that allows NHS inventors and innovators to enter their ideas and remain informed and notified at each stage of the assessment and commercialisation process. 

NHS Innovations North has a proven track record in making a real difference to patient care and providing a financial return to both the inventor and their Trust. Our experienced technologists and IP experts use a tried and tested system to analyse staff ideas and identify those that solve problems. We then work with you - the inventor - to protect your idea and explore its market potential with our network of commercial partners. Our case managers are always on hand to discuss your ideas in confidence and advise on their progress through our system.
